Mission of the Trust Sant Balbir Singh Ji Seechewal believes that man is the supreme creation of God. God has made man in His own image. What is even more important is that God has given to man a freewill and capacity to decide for himself and thus has made him a responsible being. Here lies the uniqueness of man's being. But man should not try to assert his separation form God (i.e., his ego) in opposition to his unity with Him. Such separation from God makes us smaller, reduces us almost zero. But by asserting our unity with God and His Nature we become immeasurably vast, enlarged almost to infinity. So the right way to live through this world is to try to unite ourselves with the fellow beings - human and nonhuman and with Nature-animate and inanimate. It is to live harmony with one's self environment. It will come through the inculcation in us of a sense of benevolence, kindness, tolerance and coexistence, which is the foundation of all religion. Thus Baba Ji stresses that the religious only if it inculcates this sense. But man behaved irresponsibly and chose for himself the path of separation from God and Nature in place of unity and harmony. He has created high walls of narrow selfishness around ego. What is even worse is that he is not realizing that he himself is responsible for his problems and due to this unthinking posture, he is getting frustrated and desperate. It is the firm belief of Baba Ji that what is happening is according to the will of God. Sorrows and sufferings, troubles and tribulations are meant for the education of man, for his regeneration. It is the duty of man to learn from his experiences and man is bound to do that. Baba ji is confident that the future of man is bright. Ultimately man is going to emerge out of the present hopelessness as a supreme creation of God, as he undoubtedly is. If we think positive and do positive and do positive, positive things are bound to occur. Baba Ji has the vision of a man who is free the shackles of selfishness, liberated from the transient temptations of the world, ecstatic to the depths of the soul, peaceful and poised in behavior, kind at heart, harmonious with himself and with his environment, a whole being unified and comprehensive. According to Baba Ji the ideal society is that which this dream is realized. We must work towards it realization and this is also ultimate goal of all religion.
